Liudmila Samsonova achieved her career-best run in Indian Wells at the 2025 BNP Paribas Open, defeating World No. 6 Jasmine Paolini in the round of 16 to reach the quarterfinal. 2025 also saw her reach her first Major quarterfinal at Wimbledon. Her best WTA 1000 performances came in 2023, reaching the final of the Canadian and China Open.
